| Our research group is interested in cellular immune responses to pathogens, and the correlation of those immune responses with protection from clinical disease. Most of our work has focused on cytomegalovirus (CMV), HIV, and cancer. Our goal is to determine immune correlates of protection for diseases in which cellular immunity is important. This in turn would enable better and more rapid vaccine development, as well as potential monitoring of individuals undergoing immunotherapy. In addition to published papers from our group and others, this site contains protocols and tools related to cytokine flow cytometry (CFC), the major methodology used by our group for measuring cellular immunity. For more information, please contact: Holden T.
